Trusting in God is not something that happens automatically, but you have to, on purpose, commit yourself to grow in trust.
When you press into God and pray the Ephesians prayers, you will begin to see and know Him more clearly. It will make you steadfast and put a resolve inside of you that wasn't there before. You will know that Christ is your Rock!
The enemy wants you to lay down, to cave in and to quit. Right in the midst of the storm you have to have a resolve to say, “I am in Christ. He is my Rock! He is my nourishment!”
You must draw your strength, nourishment and ability from Christ to go forward, to thrive and to love the unlovable. That doesn't happen on accident, it happens on purpose!
It takes grit and resolve to stay steadfast. Commitment and faithfulness to the things of God makes progress.
